Sarawak, 9 May 0212 – Renault Trucks introduced a new version of its truck model for medium heavy haulage, the Renault Premium Lander at Dai Lieng Machinery Sdn. Bhd. Dai Lieng Machinery is the authorized Renault Trucks dealer servicing the Miri, Bintulu, Sarawak and Sabah markets.
Specially developed by Renault Trucks, the Premium Lander now meets this demand for multipurpose vehicles that are both sturdy and highly productive. Equally at home on asphalt or on more challenging terrain, the Premium Lander to give hauliers the best possible level of productivity. The Renault Premium Lander is specifically designed for applications where payload, comfort, mobility and power are of prime importance.
A new platform for the Bus, Truck and Component industry is about to launch with the MIBTC 2013. Slated to be held in Q2 2013, this exhibition showcases trucks, parts, and busses. There will also be presentations and semiars to round off the program.
The organisers are now offering early bird rates for exhibtion spaces. The halls will accomodate complete vehicles and those who are launching their new trucks or busses may use MIBTC as a platform for this. Organisers expect a number of overseas vendors to participate in the event, making it a truly international exhibition.

Beiqi Foton Motor manufactures a wide-range of product including Light and Heavy-Duty Trucks, Buses, and Light Commercial vehicles. According to Beiqi Foton Motor, in 2011, the company registered sales of more than 640,000 vehicles.
In Malaysia, ATMSB is the exclusive distributor of the wide range of AUMAN Trucks and Buses.
The new HINO 300 Series (Light Commercial Vehicle) features the first full automatic transmission gear to be installed in the light commercial vehicle. This reflects HINO’s commitment in developing world-class solutions for the new generation of light commercial vehicles with priorities on safety and comfortable driving, quality, reliability and durability of the vehicles.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Nobuyuki Tanaka, Managing Director of Hino Motors (M) Sdn Bhd, said, “We are indeed very proud to introduce the new 300 Series, following its successful launch in Japan in June 2011. We are also pleased to announce that Hino is the first to introduce a fully automatic transmission model in the light commercial vehicle category in Malaysia. Fuso 2015 growth strategy – Leader in green innovation
In its efforts to optimize total cost of ownership and reduce CO2 emissions by 7.5 percent, Fuso aims to be a leader in fuel efficiency and green innovation. This claim is based on one of the five pillars of the Fuso 2015 growth strategy, with which Fuso aims to double international sales to 200,000 units annually over the medium-term. However, Fuso not only wants to further boost sales, as it is also focusing on the development and production of sustainable commercial vehicles. “With great dedication, Fuso is forging ahead with advanced environmentally friendly technologies, focusing, on the one hand, on the optimization of conventional, fuel-efficient diesel drive technologies, and, on the other hand, on the further development of hybrid and electric drive systems,” states Gustav Tuschen, MFTBC Vice President of Product Engineering.
With a distribution reach to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines and Taiwan the new facility will provide commercial vehicle axle-brake-driveline-suspension parts – under the Meritor, TruckTechnic and Gabriel brands - to over 18 distributors in the region, along with thousands of end-user truck operators.

There are some 600 exhibitors from accross the region and as far away as Turkey. But we are also meeting a number of familiar faces from other countries: Exorin and Wabco are exhibiting and we are having a chat with people we met at our Road Safety Seminar in Kuala Lumpur in November last year.
MAN has a bit display in the outdoor area and Mercedes is showing some interesting applications for the logging industry. Several "China Truck" manufacturers are displaying their vehicles too: Foton and DongFeng are having some large spaces in Hall A3.
